Timothy Neill is head conservator of paintings at Allied Conservation.
Timothy is a peer-reviewed Professional Associate of the American Institute for Conservation. After an extensive apprenticeship, Timothy continued working as a painting conservator in the Boston area. In 2010 Timothy founded Allied Conservation, specializing in the ethical conservation of paintings and frames.
He received his Bachelors degree in Fine Art and Art History from York College of Pennsylvania and his Masters degree from Massachusetts College of Art. Timothy is a Copley Artist (CA) of the Copley Society of Art, where he sits as chairman of the Membership Committee. He is an artist member of the North Shore Arts Association where he sits on the board of trustees, a member of the Newburyport Art Association with Master Artist designation, and is also a member of the Rockport Art Association.
